The Process Society, which is the student community of the Department of Chemical Engineering, organized an event called 5W 1K at the end of each academic year, open to our University students and faculty staff, with the participation of guests who can help and guide the graduating students in their career planning. The opening speech of the 1st day of the 2-day event, on 21-22 May 2021, was made by Ondokuz Mayıs University Rector Prof. Dr. Yavuz ÜNAL honored it by making it.
He shared enlightening and guiding information with students about their educational lives. He stated the importance of qualifications in engineering education, that in order for graduates to be successful in their professional lives, they should spend their student years productively and attach importance to training related to self-improvement.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Yıldıray TOPCU stated that, as a pioneering and entrepreneurial faculty, they aim to produce competent and sought-after graduates, and expressed their gratitude to the participants and that they will continue such programs.
Rector Prof. Dr. Yavuz Ünal also greeted the invited group and students on the first day of the event; Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Yıldıray Topcu, Head of Chemical Engineering Department and also Academic Advisor of the Process Society, Prof. Dr. Feza Geyikçi, academicians and students attended.
